WHY DON'T PEOPLE SET GOALS?

IGNORANCE.

LAZINESS

Pro 13:4

The soul of a lazy man desires, and has nothing; but the soul of the

diligent shall be made rich.

• Lazy people are losers.

RESIGNATION

• Head and not the tail.

PRESUMPTION

If you fail to plan, you plan to fail.

HOW TO SET GOALS?

1.

S PECIFIC.

1 Cor 9:26 (TLB)

So I run straight to the goal with purpose in every step. I fight to win.

I'm not just shadow-boxing or playing around.

Realm of dreams to realm of reality

Is my goal specific enough?

2. MEASURABLE ß

In the end of the year we will know how close or how far you are to it?

ACTION

Plan.

REALISTIC

Any enterprise is built by wise planning, becomes strong through

common sense, and profits wonderfully by keeping abreast of the facts.

"Come now, and let us reason together," says the LORD.

• You will be discouraged if your goal is not attained, as it is unrealistic.

Conscious.

Management.

It is pleasant to see plans develop. That is why fools refuse to give them

up even when they are wrong.

We may make our plans, but God has the last word.

He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity

in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does

from beginning to end.

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love

God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

God is the ultimate director.
