God wants your attention more than He wants to give you your results. He does want you to have your results - that glorifies Him, but He knows that giving you results without your attention on Him as No. 1 is gonna destroy you; it's gonna damage you; it'll steal your heart. So He will always arrange for things to be in your life that will get your attention.

Jacob in Hebrews 11 "by faith he blesses his children, blessing God, leaning on a staff."

Jacob had a limp, and he had a limp all his life. God never fixed that problem up. Jacob always got to walk with a walking stick.

Faith is not a thing for a moment. It's a thing for a lifetime.

So that everyday, even though you've got a limp, you get up and you walk again. You lean on a staff and God isn't fixing the problem, but the very strength that it takes for you to get up and go, in spite of a limp in your life causes you to finish your life, worshipping your God and blessing your children. You have no cynical attitude, but you're a worshipper and a blesser of the people in your world.

People struggles with all sorts of areas in their lives. Some struggle with their sexuality, some with eating disorders, some with drugs or alcohol addiction - and it doesn't seem to get fixed. For many people their addiction never really got fixed; they are always susceptible to it, and they walk through life with a limp. And God doesn't fix it. Coz He wants your attention more than He wants your comfort.

The first half of the book of Hebrews is about people who had a moment of faith and they got set free from the mouth of the lions, but the second half of the book of Hebrews is about ppl who didn't get set free, but still had faith and lived above their circumstances.

Remember the movie "A Beautiful Mind". John Nash, a mathematical genius, made an astonishing discovery early in his career and stood on the brink of international acclaim, but soon found himself on a painful and harrowing journey of schizophrenia. His problem never got fixed but he managed to live above it and ended up receiving a Nobel Prize.

Understand this, there are many things that God will fix in your life - tonnes of things, but generally there's just one thing - one thing you pray e'day of your life "If only I could get rid of this" - and you find yourself stretched by that thing - and that causes you to grow. That gives you prosperity on the inside.

We are to seek the Lord. (PERSON)

Saul and David sinned.
Saul & David was rejected.
BUT
Saul sought forgiveness.
David sought Lord.
We are not seeking something, we are seeking the presence of the Lord.

How can you seek God with your Spirit?

Holy Spirit speaks to your being -> witness of the spirit->The voice of God

How are we so sure that Isaiah 53:3-5 is talking about our physical?

Jesus died for our PHYSICAL HEALING.

- Salvation comes by asking -> For healing to happen you need to believe.
If people in the Old covenant can experience healing without JESUS and the HOLY SPIRIT, we in the New covenant can experience more.

Jesus had a powerful HEALING ministry.

Out of 3,779 verses in the 4 Gospels, 727 (or 1 in 5 verses) have to do with healing of the physical and mental illnesses.

Healing is not always INSTANT.

God uses DOCTORS and MEDICINE to cure sicknesses too.

Medicine is not God
We do not elevate doctors as God.

Unbelieve will not bring healing. Faith is not by sight.

WHY AREN'T PEOPLE HEALED?

Lack of FAITH for healing.

HIDDEN HINDRANCES that are not dealt with.

Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.

We live in an IMPERFECT, BROKEN DOWN world.
Why are there still sickness and disaters in the World today?
Simple. We live in and fallen world. But whatever we experience here is temporal. We can still trust God for healing...Praise God if I am healed on earth but if I am not... Praise God there is no sickness or hurts in heaven.
If Mr. Calvin did not see for his whole life on planet earth but still trusted God that he will be healed...Praise God...One day when he gets to heaven for the first time he can see and he will see forever the "cool things" in Heaven.

SOVERIGINITY of God.

WHAT TO EXPECT IN "BENNY HINN HEALING CRUSADE"?

Working with the ANOINTING.

We need someone else.
Friendship and love is together,though friendship is a rare comodity in this world.
Isolation is a killer!Never be alone.
Suicide is not the solution to anything.
The devil can do lots of things but one thing he can't do is he can't love
The devil hates love.
Its so hard to resist love, a saying goes like this: "Love conquers everything".

4 types of love
Agape - God's Love
Eros - Physical Love
Stolge - Motherly Love
Philidelphia - Brotherly Love

We need to love what is different.

Corrie Ten Boom

Her message was the Gospel of Jesus Christ, with a particular emphasis on forgiveness for one’s enemies.
That message was tested early in her travels when, in 1947, she came face to face with one of her torturers. She was in Germany. At the end of her talk, a man came forward.
The man was none other then a guard who was one of the curel guards who tourtured her.

This is what he said:
"You mentioned Ravensbruck in your talk," he was saying. "I was a guard there." No, he did not remember me.
"But since that time," he went on, "I have become a Christian. I know that God has forgiven me for the cruel things I did there, but I would like to hear it from your lips as well. Fraulein,"again the hand came out"will you forgive me?"

4. Big people EMPOWER others to be succesful

Henry Ford

Herny Ford produced an affordable car, paid high wages and helped create a middle class.
But he was a insercue man who wanted to do everything his way The problem was that for too long they worked on only one model. Although people told him to diversify, Henry Ford had developed tunnel vision. He basically started saying "to hell with the customer," who can have any color as long as it's black. He didn't bring out a new design and lost a lot of bucks.

We as humans often complaint instead of confessing.
"Nothing changes when you complaint." <- You only will "change" to be a negative person.
Confession changes your situation because you allow Jesus to be a lawyer.

Grace -> favour of God that we don't deserve,supernatural power of God beyond our own ability that enables us to do God's Will.

Don't try to limit God, but instead come before God boldly to obtain mercy and grace.
Exceedingly and abundantly. <- He is able.

5.Let us draw near toGod

Simply drawing near to God,not having any agenda.
Draw near to God for God Himself.
Holy of Holies->presence of God.
You must have the desire.
Luke 10:38-42-Nothing wrong to serve God, but our piority must be correct.

Worship without Service is Hipocrasy.

We need to belong to church that can fill the presence of God.

-knowing the word of God is not enough,we need to know the God of the Word.
-You can feel the Holy Spirit.It is so strong and tangeable.

3. The Holy Sprit carries a POWER

When you have the anointing even before it happens.freely from heaven.
Christ means anoited one.
Acts 10:38 - Set the captives free. delivers us from evil.

1) The oil lubricates us.
2) The oil burns - The light shines for God.
